DP Development Tools

All Unigraf DisplayPort test equipment include a link level development tool GUI. They provide the user capabilities that normal DP sinks or sources will not do. Also the functionaly of the DP CTS tools do not provide the flexibilty needed in development testing since it is dictated by by VESA's DisplayPort CTS specification.

DP Sink Console

DP Sink Console is a development and debug tool for UFG-04 DP test frame grabber and DPR-100 compact sized reference sink. The functionality of the tool is a combination of a PC GUI and the firmware in the Test Equipment. The PC is connected to the Test Equipment through a USB or RS-232 interface.

DP Source Console

DP Source Console is a development and debug tool for VTG-5225 DP pattern generator and DPT-200 compact sized reference source. It supports both DP and eDP. The functionality of the tool is a combination of a PC GUI and the firmware in the Test Equipment. The PC is connected to the Test Equipment through a USB or RS-232 interface.

	Perform manual and automatic link training for DP and eDP Output PHY patterns like PRBS7, D10.2, etc. Output proper video timings with one of the built-in patterns Set output swing and pre-emphasis levels Change scrambler to match either DP or eDP Support for eDP alternate framing Read and write sink EDID and DPCD locations Report link training outcome and state of the DP link Start / stop HDCP authentication Report HDCP authentication outcome and state Feed through audio from external sources to DP interface
