Over the years, Unigraf has been a trusted provider of debug tools and compliance tests for designers of DisplayPort featured Sink and Source devices. Unigraf is now introducing DP 1.4 Link Layer and HCDP 2.2 compliance tests to complete its tool palette for DP 1.4 adopters.

Complete Set

The selection of tests that is now available for Unigraf's new HBR3 capable test device UCD-400 includes all tests needed for Link Layer and HDCP 2.2 compliance of a DP 1.4 enabled Source DUT. In addition to this, the new tests enable also testing HDCP 2.2 compliance of Sink and Repeater DUT.

The HDCP 2.2 CTS tool is extended beyond DP 1.4 interface. It is also available for testing Sink and Source functionality of DisplayPort over USB Type-C devices by using Unigraf's USB-C test equipment UCD-340 or the HBR3 capable test equipment UCD-400 with suitable cable adaptors. In case of testing DP 1.2 Sinks and Sources the platform will be Unigraf's UCD-323.

UCD-400, UCD-323 & UCD-301 as DCP Approved Test Tools

Unigraf HDCP 2.2 CTS solution for testing DP Source and Sink DUTs has already been listed by DCP LLC as DCP Approved on UCD-400, UCD-323 and UCD-301 test equipment platforms (www.digital-cp.com/compliance). The evaluation of the tests for UCD-400 Repeater and UCD-340 platforms continues. The Certified Tool and the engineering versions are available for deliveries.

Highly Visual User Interface

HDCP 2.2 and DP 1.4 Link Layer CTS tests are controlled via Unigraf's UCD Console user interface. UCD Console provides the test engineer superior at-a-glance visibility of the 'vital signs' of DP interface and a full control of important connection parameters. In UCD Console each functionality is clearly laid out on dedicated dialogs ensuring constant high productivity of the design engineer during test sessions.
