Job Description:

Unigraf, a leading manufacturer of video test equipment, is seeking an Application Engineer with a background in video technologies, experience in protocol test & measurement tools, and an ability to work closely with customers to expeditiously understand and solve complex technical issues.

Our customers include the world’s largest technology companies as well as smaller developers, across a variety of markets and product categories, including silicon developers, makers of consumer electronics products, IP providers, test labs, government agencies, automotive companies, and more.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and review of industry specifications developed by VESA, USB-IF, or HDMI Forum
  • Train customers in the use of our products
  • Assist customers in solving technical issues
  • Track and maintain support cases using specialized software, such as Salesforce
  • Occasional domestic and international travel to support industry testing events and customers
  • Building the team as we grow
Your Qualifications:
  • Degree in electrical engineering or similar discipline
  • Knowledge of DisplayPort, HDMI, USB-C/USB4, or similar protocols
  • Demonstrable experience in design debug or validation, or qualification testing
  • Knowledge of protocol test solutions and use cases
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Motivated self-starter, problem solver, customer centric with demonstrable leadership skills
  • US citizen or permanent resident
  • Remote Western US or on-site, Gilbert, AZ (preferred)

FPGA Design Engineer

Job Description:

As an FPGA Design Engineer, you will develop FPGA systems, its components or third-party IPs and integrate them into different FPGA platforms. These tasks include design, simulation, synthesis and testing of FPGA based systems.

  • Experience with FPGA design using Verilog/VHDL languages.
  • Understanding of FPGA architecture and strong logic design fundamentals.
  • Experience with Altera Quartus or Xilinx Vivado IDE including synthesis, simulation, place and route, timing closure.
  • Experience with test benches for single module/full chip test bench environments with Modelsim.
  • Exposure to integration and debugging tools, such as oscilloscope and logic analyzers.
  • Experience in FPGA On-chip debugging
  • Ability to read, comprehend and explain engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Good English communication skills
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined
Would be a plus:
  • Knowledge of С/С++ and scripting (shell, TCL)
  • Experience with audio/video interfaces
  • Experience with high speed communication interfaces
  • Familiar with common interfaces (PCI-Express, DDR3/4, I2C, SPI, RS232)
