UCD-422 Gen2 is a video generator and analyzer for testing HDMI 2.1b interface up to 12Gbps signal speed. It supports HDMI and HDCP CTS tests across Sink, Source, and Repeater device categories, featuring the world’s first and only computer vision–based testing solution. Supported resolutions include up to 10K@30Hz and 8K@60Hz without DSC. UCD-422 Gen2 offers support for:

Versatile HDMI 2.1b Test Tool
UCD-422 Gen2 provides two GPIOs via SMA connectors, one for input and one for output. UCD-422 Gen2 offers full API access to all its functionalities for seamless integration into automated test environments.
UCD-422 Gen2 can generate any video format, audio format, frame rate, video timing, and both standard and custom InfoFrames in any sequence, allowing the UCD-422 Gen2 to generate nearly endless combination of test scenarios.
Successor to UCD-422
UCD-422 Gen2 is the next-generation successor to the UCD-422. Deliveries for the UCD-422 Gen2 are scheduled to begin in Q4 2025. UCD-422 Gen2 supports HDMI and HDCP CTS tests across Sink, Source, and Repeater device categories, featuring the world’s first and only computer vision–based testing solution. This includes support the following CTS versions.

HDMI Link Analyzer
HDMI Link Analyzer is a tool for capturing Main-link Data Events and I2C Transactions. For each bulk capture, the data is parsed in a timeline view presenting the captured frames. Within each frame, users can have a deep view of the events and metadata that occurs in each line. Measure distances in nanoseconds and symbol size to identify the length of problems in between events. Observe descrambled and scrambled symbols in hexadecimal format in each of the active lanes. UCD-422 Gen2 supports the use of HDMI Link Analyzer in a Sniffer mode to monitor HDMI link between Sink DUT and Source DUT.
HDR10+ Display Device Test Tool
Unigraf’s HDR 10+ Display Device Test License (MT6675), allows HDR 10+ adopters to generate HDR 10+ specific patterns that are required by HDR 10+ LLC to certify Sink devices such as TVs and Monitors for HDR 10+.
Unigraf’s solution integrates Klein K-10A colorimeter for automated testing of HDR 10+ Display Device tests allowing users to set and play the patterns without having to manually measure luminance values of HDR 10+ patterns. Users that do not have Klein K-10A colorimeter will be able to manually record measured luminance values into the software GUI. This solution is easy to use and reduces the time required to run HDR 10 Display Device certification tests.
Lip Sync Measurement with ULT-01
ULT-01 is a measurement tool equipped with a photo sensor and a microphone. Its purpose is to measure latencies for video and audio signal transmission. The ULT-01 is an auxiliary tool for Unigraf UCD pattern generators equipped with a synchronization connector: UCD-422 Gen2 for example.
ULT-01 Product Features
• Video latency measurement.
• Audio-video synchronization measurement (AVSync applaication) will be available for LIP compliance testing with firmware update.
