HDR10+ Testing Challenges
HDR10+ Specific Patterns
To test HDR10+ compliant products, adopters need HDR 10+ specific patterns that are required by HDR 10+ LLC to certify Sink and Source devices for HDR 10+. As an approved test equipment vendor, Unigraf’s test equipment is able to generate the needed patterns for the compliance tests.
Time Consuming Testing
Testing HDR10+ products according to the test specifications is a time-consuming process with a possibility for human errors. Unigraf’s test solution enables automating certain parts of the test process saving valuable time and providing error-free testing.
Approved HDR10+ Test Equipment
Unigraf’s UCD-422 and UCD-323 are approved by HDR10+ for testing Display and Distribution devices both on HDMI and DP. Thanks to Unigraf’s Playback Software, any video format, audio format, frame rate, video timing, and InfoFrames etc. including timestamps can be generated in any sequence, allowing UCD devices to generate nearly endless combination of test scenarios.
Unigraf’s HDR 10+ test licenses allow HDR 10+ adopters to generate HDR 10+ specific patterns that are required by HDR 10+ LLC to certify Sink and Source devices for HDR 10+. Licenses are available separately for DP and HDMI as well as for Display and Distribution Devices.
Automated Testing with a Colorimeter
Unigraf’s solution integrates Konika Minolta CA-410 colorimeter for automated testing of HDR10+ Display Device tests allowing users to set and play the patterns without having to manually measure luminance values of HDR 10+ patterns. Users that do not have Konika Minolta CA-410 colorimeter will be able to manually record measured luminance values into the software GUI. This solution is easy to use and reduces the time required to run HDR10+ Display Device certification tests.
